Your innovative Locàite.me fall and SOS alarm provides reassurance for you not only when your loved ones are at home, but also if they are on holiday in the EU or even living in the EU. This panic button and fall sensor is designed to stay connected wherever you are in the EU.
Roaming is already included with your monthly Locàite SIM plan and your inclusive minutes cover calls between any of the roaming destinations. We don’t charge any extra if you keep within your inclusive minutes.
Roaming is available in the following countries:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Channel Islands, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK.
Check before you go
Step 1: Emergency contacts
Save your emergency contact numbers with the correct country code (e.g. +44 if the emergency contact phones are UK based) as you will be dialling from abroad.
Step 2: Home Locàite address
When the pendant is within range of the charging base, it will report the Home Locàite address stored in Settings. Please update this to the new address whenever you move the charging base.
Step 3: Travel adaptor
The charging base also contains a battery to allow you to charge your pendant in the event of a power cut. It will last for a day or two when unplugged.
When the pendant is within range of the charging base, it will report the stored Home Locàite in Settings. Please update this to the new address or move away from the charging base to activate GPS.
To turn OFF the charging base when travelling (if required), unplug it from the wall then press and hold both the SOS button and Direct Call buttons at the same time until the LED turns green (about 3 seconds).
To turn the charging base back ON, simply plug it or press and hold the Direct Call button for 2 seconds.
