Connect to all UK networks with our international SIM
The Locàite.me pendant and Watch require a mobile signal to communicate emergency contacts and the Locàite app. They are not able to connect to home WiFi for sending data or making phone calls.
If you experience a low EE mobile signal indoors at home, it may be difficult for your pendant or Watch to connect using our standard UK SIM. To check, try moving outside and using your device. If it then works as expected, it confirms a low mobile signal inside.
We have a solution! We can supply a international SIM (from another EU country), which roams across all UK networks for best possible signal. (Exactly the same as when your own mobile phone roams across networks when you go abroad.)
All Locàite SIM plan charges remain the same – we don’t charge any more for this option. If you intend to call your pendant or Watch, you would be calling an EU number, so please check your own phone’s calling plan includes EU calls, or you are aware of charges for calling an EU mobile number.
You can still roam in EU countries with the international SIM option. Roaming is already included with your monthly Locàite SIM plan and your inclusive minutes cover calls between any of the roaming destinations. We don’t charge any extra if you keep within your inclusive minutes.

Check your emergency contact numbers
Important note regarding emergency contact phone numbers.
If you are using our international SIM, you need to save emergency contact phone numbers with the international dialling code. For the UK, this is +44 or 0044.
For example, if the emergency contact number is 07123456789, you should store this in the Locaite app as +447123456789 or 00447123456789.
